SERVICE CHANGES AT APRIL 7, 2021

IWHC Toronto has changed its services due to the Covid Lockdown; Please note the changes as below:

IWHC Ongoing Services (by appointment only, NO walk-ins):

    • STI testing for anyone having vaginal, urinary or other STI symptoms
    • STI testing for anyone who is high risk or requires urgent testing
    • STI bloodwork is now restricted to those with high risk of exposure or symptoms
    • Repeat Paps for anyone who has had an abnormal result
    • IUD removals only if having IUD-related symptoms or if past expiry date
    • Wart treatment at two week intervals only
    • Birth control prescriptions will be given by phone appointment only
    • Depo Provera service is done through 2 appointments:
      • 1st appointment by phone for the prescription
      • 2nd appointment in-clinic for the injection

IWHC Services stopped until further notice:

    • Routine STI checks (no symptoms)
    • IUD Insertions (please speak with a counsellor if you are unable to use any other method of birth control)
    • IUD removals (no IUD-related symptoms and within expiry)
    • Routine Paps
    • Vaccines (HEP B and Gardasil)

COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENTS: 

Please do not come to the clinic, if:

    • You are sick; i.e. you have a fever, dry cough, difficulty breathing, body ache, sore throat, runny nose, pinkeye (conjunctivitis), nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, extreme fatigue
    • You have been exposed to a known COVID case
    • You have travelled outside Canada in the last 14 days

PLEASE NOTE:

  • No Hep B or HPV vaccines or implant removals at this time
  • Appointments are 15 minutes only; your intake will be done by phone
  • If you do not answer the intake call, your appointment will be cancelled
  • If you are late or miss your appointment, you will have to reschedule
  • If you are booked for a phone consult, the physician will call you as close as possible to your appointment time
  • If you miss your phone consult call from the physician, you will have to reschedule
