*Please do not come to the clinic, if: You are sick i.e. you have a fever, dry cough, difficulty breathing, body aches, sore throat, runny nose, pink eye (conjunctivitis), nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, extreme fatigue

 

Clinical Services

Our clinical services include, but are not limited to:

• Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) testing, treatment, and counselling
• Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) testing and counselling (nominal only)
• Syphilis testing, treatment, and counselling
• Hepatitis blood work and vaccination for Hepatitis B
• Human Papillomavirus (HPV) testing, treatment, vaccination, and counselling
• Urinary Tract Infections (UTI) testing, treatment, and counselling
• Infection testing, treatment, and counselling
• HPV DNA testing (Free if you have a valid Health Card; $95 cash if not)
• Birth control prescriptions, treatment, counselling, and low-cost sales (including Plan B)
• Intrauterine Device (IUD) and Intrauterine System (IUS) insertions, follow-up, removal, counselling, and sales.

**No unprotected sexual intercourse 2 weeks before IUD insertion or removal.
• Implant insertions, removals, follow-up, and counselling.

**No unprotected sexual intercourse 2 weeks before implant insertion or removal.

 

 

Other Information

For IUD Insertion and Implant Insertion/Removal appointments, your intake will be done 1 day before your appointment. If you do not answer the intake call, your appointment will be cancelled and you will need to re-book. If you are late, even by a few minutes, you will need to re-book as well.

If you are booked for a phone consult with the physician, the physician will call you as close as possible to your appointment time. If you miss the call, you will need to re-book.

Birth control sales cutoff times:

  • 4:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
  • 6:00 PM on Wednesday

We do not accept $100 bills.

There are no returns on any medication sold by our clinic.

EFFECTIVE MARCH 2025 HPV DNA tests will be done at the clinic INSTEAD of pap tests following the new health guidelines. If you have a valid Health Card the cost is covered. If you do not have a valid Health Card the cost is 95$ cash as per the lab.

 

EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 19, 2024 WE HAVE A NEW CANCELLATION/LATE POLICY:

  • You are asked to come 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment. Unfortunately, due to the volume of patients, if you are late for your appointment we will cancel your appointment and you will have to re-book for another day.  
  • You must cancel your appointment 24 hours advanced notice.
  • It is unfair to patents who are on waiting lists and are in need to see a doctor please come to your appointment.

 

Eligibility Policy- IUD and Implant Insertions

Please note that IUD and contraceptive implant insertion services at IWHC Toronto are available to Canadian residents only. At this time, we are unable to provide IUD or implant insertions to United States residents. This is due to legality and directions from the Public Health Agency of Canada. For further information, you may contact the Public Health Agency of Canada toll-free at 1-844-280-5020. We appreciate your understanding and encourage U.S. residents to seek these services within their local healthcare system.
