IWHC Toronto Services

We offer FREE sexual/reproductive health clinical services, information and outreach to all genders for a wide range of sexual health issues with a multilingual, all-female staff; our services are provided in a non-judgmental, culturally-sensitive environment.

Clinical Services:

• Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) testing, treatment and counselling
• Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) testing and counselling (nominal only)
• Syphilis testing, treatment and counselling
• Hepatitis Blood work, Vaccination for Hepatitis B
• Human Papillomavirus (HPV) testing, treatment, vaccination, counselling
• Urinary Tract Infections (UTI) testing, treatment and counselling
• Infection testing, treatment and counselling
• Pap smear tests (Done every 3 years after age 25 and you are sexually active for 1 year)
• Birth Control prescriptions, treatment, counselling and low cost sales including Plan B
• Intrauterine Device (IUD), Intrauterine System (IUS) insertions, follow up, removal counselling and sales

Additional Services:

• Free Condoms/Pregnancy Tests
• Pregnancy Counselling & Referral
• Abortion Counselling & Referral only 

IUD/Implant Insertion Policy:

• IUD/IUS and Implant insertion spots are limited.
• For IUS (Hormonal Device) or Implant no sex without condoms for 2 weeks prior to your appointment, device can be purchased at our clinic (Mirena and Kyleena for 375$ cash only).
• Implant can be purchased at a pharmacy with a prescription. (*Please schedule a prior appointment for a prescription)
• IUD (Copper Device) no sex without condoms for 2 weeks prior to appointment. The device can be purchased at our clinic (Mona Lisa 80$ cash only)
• Insertions/Removal are not guaranteed if any concerns arise from physician assessment
• A urine pregnancy test must be done at our clinic right before insertion

Eligibility Policy- IUD and Implant Insertions

Please note that IUD and contraceptive implant insertion services at IWHC Toronto are available to Canadian residents only. At this time, we are unable to provide IUD or implant insertions to United States residents. This is due to legality and directions from the Public Health Agency of Canada. For further information, you may contact the Public Health Agency of Canada toll-free at 1-844-280-5020. We appreciate your understanding and encourage U.S. residents to seek these services within their local healthcare system.
